Website Terms of Use
These terms govern use of Access for Therapists (AFT) websites, forms, and portals. By accessing AFT sites, you agree to these terms.
Informational use only
Site content is for general information. It is not clinical, legal, or tax advice. Using the site does not create a provider–recipient relationship. In an emergency, contact local emergency services; AFT is not an emergency responder.
Privacy and data
AFT’s public data practices are explained in the Privacy, Data Minimization, and PHI Notice. Do not submit clinical records or PHI through AFT sites or email. Internal controls are described in AFT policies and do not expand public commitments.
Access, non-discrimination, and accessibility
AFT’s public commitments are stated in the Access, Non-Discrimination, and Accessibility Notice. Report accessibility issues via the contact channel on our site.
Eligibility to use the site
AFT serves adults in higher education or the mental health workforce. The site is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used by them.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to breach security, interfering with the site’s operation, scraping or automated collection outside what the site provides, infringing intellectual property or privacy rights, submitting unlawful content, or using the site to harass, defame, or discriminate.
User submissions and license
If you submit content or feedback to AFT through the site (excluding PHI, which must not be submitted), you grant AFT a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use that material to operate and improve AFT services. You represent you have rights to what you submit.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party sites or use third-party services. AFT does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for their practices.
Intellectual property
AFT owns the site and its content, including trademarks and logos, except where noted. You may not copy, modify, or distribute site content except as allowed by law or with AFT’s written permission.
Warranties and liability
The site is provided “as is.” AFT disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from site use.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AFT harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.
Changes to the site or terms
AFT may update the site or these terms. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to the site or these terms. Use the contact method listed on our site for questions, accessibility feedback, or notices about these terms.
