Non-discrimination

At Access for Therapists (AFT), we believe in providing an online environment that allows all users, including those with disabilities, to access the information and services with ease and comfort.

Access and reasonable accommodations

AFT provides reasonable accommodations for intake, communications, and matching. Request via the contact method on our site or forms. We engage in an interactive process and respond within a reasonable period.

Digital accessibility

AFT aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA for public web content and forms. Send accessibility feedback via the site; Operations tracks and addresses barriers.

Language access

Upon request and where feasible, AFT provides plain-language explanations and explores translations for key notices and forms. For university programs, we coordinate under the University Data-Sharing and De-Identification Addendum.

Provider independence and scope

AFT facilitates introductions only. Independent licensed providers set clinical terms directly with recipients. AFT is not a healthcare provider or HIPAA covered entity/business associate and should not receive PHI; see the Privacy, Data Minimization, and PHI Notice.

Concerns and grievances

Raise discrimination, access, or accommodation concerns through the Complaint and Grievance Procedure. For emergencies, contact appropriate services; AFT is not an emergency responder.
